Reinaldo Teixeira, director of the Garvetur | Enolagest Group, received the Gold Merit Medal during the Awards Ceremony, as part of the celebrations for Loulé Municipality Day.
The awarding of the Municipal Merit Medal to the businessman aimed to “publicly honor relevant or exceptional services rendered to the Municipality,” as decided by the Loulé City Council. This distinction recognizes his performance in business, in a career that began in 1983 when he took over the management of Garvetur, SA, then based in Quarteira.
Under Reinaldo Teixeira’s leadership, the Enolagest holding company was created in 2001, with Garvetur as its anchor company, encompassing 42 participating companies and maintaining its headquarters in the municipality of Loulé, at the Vilamoura Jardim Business Center. The Garvetur | Enolagest Group Enolagest is one of the leading players in the national tourism real estate sector, while maintaining its deep connection to Loulé and the Algarve region.
At the ceremony, the businessman expressed his gratitude for the award and made a point of sharing the distinction with all employees, clients, partners, and family, also mentioning several important people who have collaborated in his 42-year business journey.
Reinaldo Teixeira also highlighted his personal connection, referring to the village of Salir, where he was born, which in his opinion, “strengthens the bond with the municipality of Loulé, a connection that is expressed through social responsibility, one of the values of the companies I lead.”
In closing, the businessman assured, “This distinction makes us responsible and is an incentive for us to do better, and while we are immensely proud of our past, we want to build more in the future, betting on the sustained growth of our companies, with confidence in the development of the local, regional, and national economy.”
